Wife of man Injured in RTA

Reba is the wife of a man who was badly injured in a vehicle collision.

Gareth, the other driver, had been disqualified but had not been given a custodial sentence and she felt she needed to tell him that it was not over for her husband and therefore for herself, too. 

Reba’s husband now suffers from anxiety and although he is physically recovered, the mental impact still effects their every day. She did not wish to meet Gareth and so we relayed a conversation between Reba and Gareth, who was able to express his deep regret and his very earnest intentions to remain far more aware of his surroundings when he eventually gets his licence back. Both parties felt better for having been able to communicate with one another.
